Chinese Biological Investigator Society 9th Biannual Meeting, Registration Open

We are pleased to announce the preliminary program of our biannual meeting, to be held in Zhang Jia Jie City (  ), Hunan Province, Chinese National Forest Park, July 31-August 2, 2011.

To attend this meeting, all participants must be principal investigators (PI) of academic institutions or Scientists in Industry, and need to register through our official website: www.cbisociety.org. Early registration is accepted up to May 1, 2011 at $200 per member and $300 for each nonmember. $100 out of the nonmember registration fee will be automatically deposited as annual membership. After May 1, 2011, the registration fees for member and nonmembers will be $250 and $400, respectively.
Scientific Sessions
This biannual meeting is intended to be both a reunion of old friends and an opportunity to
make new friends. In addition to invited speakers, all participants are invited to submit
an abstract of your noteworthy work. The abstract will be used for two purposes.
The first is to be included in the secure CBIS websites, accessible only for CBIS members
and participating PI. The second is to serve as the basis to select topics for a lunch
time roundtable discussion session. We introduced this new feature to help members gain
better familiarities with each other's science. We welcome volunteers to serve as leaders

Lodging
The CIBS biannual meeting will cover your local transplantation (to and from Changsha) and meals during the meeting. In addition to science sessions listed, we will also organize activities for your accompanying family members. Currently, we are working on the possibility for you to be subsidized for local group tour arrangements.

The society has negotiated a discount for 160 rooms in Pullman hotels in Zhang Jia Jie( , 5 Stars) Which located in the beautiful natural scenic spot of Zhangjia jie National park. The room price at special discount is RMB520 for all the participants. Online reservation can be made at our website together with registration. Payment will be due at the meeting site.
