Dear CBIS members, friends and colleagues

On this eve of Chinese New Year, we write to wish you a healthy, happy, and prosperous year of the Ox.

As most of you know, Chinese Biological Investigators Society (CBIS) completed its election in November and the results were certified in December 2008. I am very proud to present you a roster of 13 outstanding individuals who will serve on the board of CBIS (see below). They are leading scientists in their fields and devoted citizens in our community. We are all grateful for the outstanding service by our former officers, caring members and friends.

The newly elected Board has had several discussions in different forums. You will receive an announcement of the next annual meeting and other society activities in early February. We are very much looking forward to the opportunities to serve you in the coming years, and welcome your inputs how best the society could serve you and the community of our patronage.
